Project Showcase: Rosewell Feature Wall Wallpapering

 We recently undertook a challenging project to wallpaper a feature wall for a client in Rosewell. The living room walls presented a significant challenge due to their uneven nature, compounded by the imperfections typical of an old house. This necessitated extensive wall filling, smoothing, and sanding to create a suitable surface for the wallpaper installation.

Preparation

To achieve a seamless match of the geometric pattern of the wallpaper, we meticulously hung a thick 2000 grade lining paper on the walls. This lining paper not only helped to conceal the imperfections of the walls but also ensured there were no gaps between the seams of the wallpaper.

Execution

Working with thin and fragile wallpaper posed its own set of challenges. Careful handling was essential to prevent tearing or stretching of the paper during installation. Despite these obstacles, our team’s attention to detail and expertise ensured a successful and flawless application of the wallpaper.

Result

The culmination of our efforts is a stunningly papered feature wall that not only masks the structural irregularities of the walls but also accentuates the aesthetic appeal of the living room. The end result delighted our client, leaving them with a beautifully transformed space that exceeds their expectations.
