The Challenge
As with many exterior decorating jobs in Edinburgh, timing was important. The work had to be planned around suitable weather conditions to ensure proper preparation, drying, and a long-lasting finish.
Our Approach
We carried out a full repaint of the wooden decking railings, with careful preparation before applying the final coating.
Work carried out:
- Scraped off pine resin
- Raked out cracks and holes
- Filled and sanded damaged areas
- Sanded the wooden surfaces
- Cleaned all surfaces thoroughly
- Applied RAL 8025 Demi Dekk exterior opaque wood stain
The Result
The finished decking railings are properly protected for outdoor conditions. The RAL 8025 finish gives the garden deck a clean, contemporary appearance while preserving the wood.
