Luxury Sardine Wallpaper Installation in Chesser, Edinburgh

The Challenge

The Chesser bathroom needed a confident wallpaper finish in a compact space with several detailed edges to manage, including a window reveal, tiled half walls, corners and the doorway. Newly plastered walls also needed to be sealed properly before the designer wallpaper was installed.

Our Approach

1. Checked and prepared the newly plastered walls before decorating.
2. Sealed the surfaces so the wallpaper adhesive could bond evenly.
3. Planned the wallpaper layout carefully around the bathroom walls, window reveal and doorway.
4. Installed the sardine-pattern wallpaper with close attention to alignment, trimming and clean edges.
5. Repaired, primed and painted the pine bathroom door and frame in a white satin finish.
6. Protected the bathroom fittings and left the room clean and ready to use.

The Result

The finished bathroom has a bright, characterful look, with the sardine wallpaper wrapping cleanly around the room and the white woodwork giving the design a sharp frame. The detailed preparation helps the wallpaper sit smoothly, while the restored door and frame complete the room with a crisp, practical finish.
