Living Room Painting & Designer Wallpaper Near Gorebridge
Careful interior painting, timber beam staining and precision installation of a designer wallcovering in a vaulted open-plan living room near Gorebridge.
The Challenge
The vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and large window openings made access and preparation central to this project. The newly installed timber floor also needed full protection, while the detailed wallcovering had to align cleanly around the windows and fireplace across a long feature wall.
Our Approach
- Emptied the working area and protected the new timber floor with heavy-duty coverings.
- Used mobile scaffold access to prepare the vaulted ceiling and exposed structural beams safely.
- Filled and sanded minor cracks, holes and surface imperfections before decorating.
- Applied the coordinated wall and ceiling finishes, then refreshed the beams with a dark mahogany stain.
- Planned, cut and installed the designer wallcovering so its detailed pattern flowed around the windows and fireplace.
The Result
The completed room brings the painted surfaces, restored timber beams and detailed wallcovering into one considered scheme. The feature wall follows the architecture cleanly, while the refreshed beams and protected timber floor retain the warmth and character of the open-plan space.
