The Challenge
The client wanted to give a small bedroom more character without overwhelming it. The feature wall included a sloping ceiling, rooflight, window and fireplace, while a water-damaged section needed to be prepared before the wallpaper could be hung.
Our Approach
- Inspected the wall and prepared the water-damaged area.
- Filled and sanded the surface so it was ready for wallpapering.
- Planned the layout around the sloping ceiling, rooflight, window and fireplace.
- Applied the paste-the-wall wallpaper with careful attention to the brick pattern alignment.
- Trimmed and finished the edges neatly around each of the room’s features.
The Result
The white brick-effect wallpaper gives the bedroom a brighter, fresher feel while adding texture to the feature wall. It works neatly alongside the timber fireplace and green tiled surround, giving the room a more distinctive finish.
