Project Showcase: Bespoke MDF Wardrobe Painting

We recently completed a project involving the transformation of a newly fitted MDF wardrobe into a stunning, neutral off-white masterpiece. This bespoke wardrobe unit featured 8 doors and was meticulously crafted to our client’s specifications.

Protecting Your Space

To ensure the pristine condition of our client’s home, we began by covering the floor with a self-adhesive carpet protector film, safeguarding the carpet from any paint stains during the transformation process.

Precision Offsite Painting

The doors and hinges were expertly removed and taken offsite to our workshop for painting. This approach minimized disruption within our client’s home, allowing them to relish the tranquillity and comfort of their living space.

Meticulous Preparation

With great attention to detail, we filled any holes and gaps, primed all the bare MDF, and delicately sanded the surface using a fine abrasive. Our commitment to a clean environment was evident as we utilized an industrial extractor to minimize the dispersion of any dust particles.

Exquisite Finishing Touch

Following the preparation phase, we applied two topcoats of water-based enamel, ensuring the longevity of the furniture’s pristine appearance.

Seamless Reassembly

After painting, the furniture was expertly reassembled, and the hinges were meticulously adjusted to ensure a perfect fit for all the doors.

Spotless Completion

Upon completion, we cleaned the room, leaving the space in an immaculate condition.
