Bathroom Wallpapering in Edinburgh – A Bold Botanical Finish
Specialist bathroom wallpapering with careful wall preparation and precise half-drop pattern matching.
The Challenge
Bathrooms need extra care when wallpaper is installed because humidity, tiling, fixtures and tight edges all affect the finish. This project also used a paste-the-wall, half-drop botanical wallpaper, so the pattern repeat had to be planned carefully before hanging.
Our Approach
- Cleaned and prepared the wall surfaces above the tiling before installation.
- Raked out, filled and sanded minor cracks and imperfections to create a sound base.
- Measured and planned the layout so the half-drop botanical pattern aligned cleanly.
- Installed approximately 22 square metres of customer-supplied paste-the-wall wallpaper across six rolls.
- Worked tidily around bathroom fittings and tiled edges to keep disruption low.
The Result
The finished bathroom has a more characterful and considered feel, with the botanical wallpaper bringing colour, texture and interest to the room. Careful preparation and pattern matching gave the paper a clean, precise finish around the existing bathroom details.
