Bespoke Media Unit Transformation
We recently completed the finishing work on a bespoke media unit, transforming raw MDF into a sleek, high-end feature for a client’s open-plan living space.
Craftsmanship Collaboration
The unit was custom-built by Andrew Hay, a local joiner and cabinetmaker known for his exceptional quality. He brought us in to handle the spray painting, using a tough, water-based white enamel designed specifically for furniture.
Careful Prep in a Busy Space
The unit was installed in a large kitchen-living area, so we created a fully enclosed spray zone with plastic sheeting to contain any overspray. We also protected the floor with self-adhesive film to keep it spotless during the process. The walls were painted afterwards to ensure a clean, seamless result.
Flawless Finish
We filled and smoothed every surface, primed it with care, then applied two fine topcoats using a precision spray system. The end result: a smooth, durable white finish that looked like it came straight from the workshop.
